Our bulkheads are designed to provide shoreline stabilization and protection against the relentless forces of the ocean. Constructed along coastlines, waterfronts, or riverbanks, our bulkheads serve as a durable barrier, helping to prevent erosion and damage from storms. All of of bulkheads are constructed of the largest materials possible, with the highest level of corrosion / rot resistance. We only use 2.5CCA treated lumber, and always use the largest diameter hot dipped galvanized fasteners to ensure your bulkheads lasts generations.
At High Tide Construction, we are experts in bulkheads from wood, vinyl, steel and concrete depending on your individual needs. We strive to build bulkheads / seawalls are higher quality and more cost effective than our competitors.
Wooden bulkheads remain the most popular choice for coastal barriers. All of our wooden bulkheads are treated to 2.5CCA to ensure rot resistance. We also use the largest timbers possible to ensure the longest lifespan and protection from relentless erosion forces. Beyond their practical function, the natural aesthetics of wooden ocean bulkheads contribute to a visual harmony with the colors of our coastal landscape.
Vinyl bulkheads remain a popular choice for coastal protection. We construct our vinyl bulkheads with Everlast sheet piles and drive all piles to depths of refusal. While vinyl does not deteriorate, these bulkheads still rely on galvanized metals and treated wood for support, giving them similar lifespan to all wood.
